H.B. 3340 relates to the conveyance of certain state forest land in Cherokee County under the control of the board of regents of The Texas A&M University System.
RULEMAKING AUTHORITY
This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.
SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS
SECTION 1. CONVEYANCE BY THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SYSTEM. Authorizes the board of regents of The Texas A&M University System to convey certain described real property. Sets forth the territory of the real property.
SECTION 2. INTERESTS CONVEYED. Requires that the conveyance authorized by this Act be of fee title to the surface and provides that it is exclusive of all mineral rights. Requires that all instruments of conveyance be in a form acceptable to The Texas A&M University System.
SECTION 3. Effective date: upon passage or September 1, 2009.
