BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

H.B. 4114 provides that the Committee on House Administration and the Senate Committee on Administration shall direct the State Preservation Board to place the Tejano memorial monument on the south lawn of the Capitol.

It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution.
