AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the powers and duties of the Montgomery County Hospital |
|
|
District. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 5, Chapter 258, Acts of the 65th |
|
|
Legislature, Regular Session, 1977, is amended by adding Subsection |
|
|
(c) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) In addition to the powers otherwise provided by this |
|
|
Act, the district may exercise any power granted to a county or a |
|
|
public hospital by Sections 61.035, 61.057, 61.058, and 61.059, |
|
|
Health and Safety Code, as those sections exist on September 30, |
|
|
2009, including the power to require a person to comply with a |
|
|
corresponding duty. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
