| relating to permits issued by the commission. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter 5, Health and Safety Code is amended | ||
| by adding Section 382.0501 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 382.0501. GENERAL POLICY REGARDING PERMITTING. The | ||
| commission shall not issue any permit that does not conform with | ||
| federal requirements and obligations under the Federal Clean Air | ||
| Act. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. | ||
