A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the suspension of a lobbyist registration for failure |
|
|
to pay child support obligations. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 305, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 305.0052 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 305.0052. SUSPENSION OF REGISTRATION FOR FAILURE TO |
|
|
PAY CHILD SUPPORT. A person's registration under this chapter may |
|
|
be suspended under the same conditions and in the same manner as a |
|
|
license is suspended under Chapter 232, Family Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
