A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the waiver of state park entrance fees for active |
|
|
members of the Texas State Guard. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 13, Parks and Wildlife |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Section 13.0185 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 13.0185. PARK FEE WAIVER FOR MEMBERS OF THE TEXAS STATE |
|
|
GUARD. The department shall waive the state park entrance fee and |
|
|
vehicle entrance fee for any person who is an active member of the |
|
|
Texas State Guard on presentation of the person's Texas State Guard |
|
|
identification card. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act take effect September 1, 2009. |
