| relating to the issues upon which a local option election may be | ||
| called. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 501.035, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| adding 501.035(b)(11) as follows: | ||
| (11) "The legal sale of beer and wine or mixed beverages in | ||
| restaurants by food and beverage certificate holder only." | ||
| SECTION 2. This act takes effect September 1, 2009. | ||
