HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The passing of Pamelia Ann Blackburn Urbano of
  Paris, Texas, on January 9, 2009, at the age of 71, has deeply
  saddened all those who were fortunate enough to know her; and
         WHEREAS, Born on August 23, 1937, to Marshall and Ruby Miller
  Blackburn, Pam Blackburn graduated from Paris High School and Paris
  Junior College; she went on to establish a notable career with First
  Federal Community Bank, where she was employed for 43 years; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Urbano served as president of the Paris
  Business and Professional Women's Club and received that
  organization's Woman of the Year honor, and she further contributed
  to her community as a congregant of the Lamar Avenue Church of
  Christ; and
         WHEREAS, Pam Urbano lived a life that was rich in family,
  friends, and meaningful achievements, and she will forever hold a
  treasured place in the hearts of her loved ones; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Pamelia Ann Blackburn Urbano and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her son,
  John Miller Urbano, and his wife, Debbye; to her granddaughters,
  Kellye Anne Urbano and Rachele Nicole Urbano Estes and her husband,
  Steven; to her great-grandsons, Wesley and Ethan Estes; to her
  brother, John Marshall Blackburn, and his wife, Ellen; to her
  nieces, Karen Blackburn and Tracy Whitlock; to her special friend,
  Albygail Clarke; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Pamelia Ann Blackburn Urbano.
