HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Robert |
|
|
Brownfield of Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 24, 2009, at |
|
|
the age of 60; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born on October 3, 1948, to T. J. and Doris Barron |
|
|
Brownfield in Whitewright, Robert Brownfield established a career |
|
|
at Campbell Soup Company that spanned three decades; he was a member |
|
|
of the Elks Lodge, where he held several offices, including Exalted |
|
|
Ruler, and he also served as a cook at the lodge for many years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He and his wife, Patsy, shared 18 rewarding years of |
|
|
matrimony, and the couple raised a family that grew to include 5 |
|
|
children, Wayne, Byron, Jerry, Tammy, and Robin, as well as 10 |
|
|
grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield lived a caring and purposeful |
|
|
life, and those fortunate enough to have shared in his love and |
|
|
friendship will forever treasure their memories of him; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
|
hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Brownfield and extend |
|
|
sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Patsy |
|
|
Brownfield; to his children, Wayne Brownfield and his wife, Sharri, |
|
|
Byron Long and his wife, Sherry, Jerry Long, Tammy Daniels and her |
|
|
husband, Rodney, and Robin Malone and her husband, Craig; to his |
|
|
grandchildren, Jaythan Brownfield, Dylan Long, Justin Rosson, |
|
|
Chance Johnson, Aaron McMikel, Emily Brownfield, Angelika Summers, |
|
|
Jacqueline Summers, Kayla Daniels, and Misty Daniels; to his |
|
|
great-grandson, Malachi McCool; to his parents, T. J. and Doris |
|
|
Barron Brownfield; to his siblings, Bobby Brownfield and his wife, |
|
|
Sara, Dennis Brownfield and his wife, Cathy, Mark Brownfield and |
|
|
his wife, Denise, Kay Williams and her husband, Chuck, and Mary |
|
|
Rogers and her husband, Kyle; and to his other relatives and |
|
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of |
|
|
Robert Brownfield. |
