H.C.R. No. 167
 
 
 
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Robert
  Brownfield of Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 24, 2009, at
  the age of 60; and
         WHEREAS, Born on October 3, 1948, to T. J. and Doris Barron
  Brownfield in Whitewright, Robert Brownfield established a career
  at Campbell Soup Company that spanned three decades; he was a member
  of the Elks Lodge, where he held several offices, including Exalted
  Ruler, and he also served as a cook at the lodge for many years; and
         WHEREAS, He and his wife, Patsy, shared 18 rewarding years of
  matrimony, and the couple raised a family that grew to include 5
  children, Wayne, Byron, Jerry, Tammy, and Robin, as well as 10
  grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and
         WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield lived a caring and purposeful
  life, and those fortunate enough to have shared in his love and
  friendship will forever treasure their memories of him; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Brownfield and extend
  sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Patsy
  Brownfield; to his children, Wayne Brownfield and his wife, Sharri,
  Byron Long and his wife, Sherry, Jerry Long, Tammy Daniels and her
  husband, Rodney, and Robin Malone and her husband, Craig; to his
  grandchildren, Jaythan Brownfield, Dylan Long, Justin Rosson,
  Chance Johnson, Aaron McMikel, Emily Brownfield, Angelika Summers,
  Jacqueline Summers, Kayla Daniels, and Misty Daniels; to his
  great-grandson, Malachi McCool; to his parents, T. J. and Doris
  Barron Brownfield; to his siblings, Bobby Brownfield and his wife,
  Sara, Dennis Brownfield and his wife, Cathy, Mark Brownfield and
  his wife, Denise, Kay Williams and her husband, Chuck, and Mary
  Rogers and her husband, Kyle; and to his other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Robert Brownfield.
