CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Julie Ballew was nominated as the Clear Creek |
|
|
Independent School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the |
|
|
Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nominees for the prestigious Teacher of the Year |
|
|
awards are chosen on the basis of teaching style, ability to engage |
|
|
children, leadership on campus, collaboration with coworkers, and |
|
|
communication with parents; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A third-grade teacher at Landolt Elementary School, |
|
|
Ms. Ballew inspires a love of learning in her students that places |
|
|
them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious |
|
|
resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our young |
|
|
people to become successful adults; Ms. Ballew exemplifies the |
|
|
qualities that make a truly great teacher, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
|
hereby congratulate Julie Ballew on being nominated as the Clear |
|
|
Creek Independent School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of |
|
|
the Year and extend to her best wishes for continued success; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ballew as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives and Senate. |
