CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dawn Gibler was named the Clear Creek Independent |
|
|
School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The prestigious Teacher of the Year award is |
|
|
presented to an educator who demonstrates an outstanding teaching |
|
|
style and the ability to engage children, who is a leader on campus, |
|
|
who collaborates well with coworkers, and who communicates |
|
|
effectively with parents; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fifth-grade teacher at P. H. Greene Elementary |
|
|
School, Ms. Gibler inspires a love of learning in her students that |
|
|
places them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious |
|
|
resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our young |
|
|
people to become successful adults; Ms. Gibler exemplifies the |
|
|
qualities that make a truly great teacher, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
|
hereby congratulate Dawn Gibler on being named the Clear Creek |
|
|
Independent School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the |
|
|
Year and extend to her best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gibler as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives and Senate. |
