HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, House Joint Resolution No. 14 has been adopted by |
|
|
the senate and the house of representatives and is being prepared |
|
|
for enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be |
|
|
corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED by the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|
|
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed |
|
|
to correct House Joint Resolution No. 14 as follows: |
|
|
In SECTION 1.02 of the joint resolution, in the prescribed |
|
|
ballot language (conference committee report page 4, line 23), |
|
|
between "tax revenue purposes" and the period, insert ", and to |
|
|
limit the legislature's authority to grant the power of eminent |
|
|
domain to an entity". |
