R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends have sustained a profound loss |
|
with the untimely passing of Frederick Henry Eissler of West |
|
Chester, Pennsylvania, on November 17, 2008, at the age of 20; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Eissler was the eldest child of five born to Fred |
|
and Helene Eissler and was a devoted big brother to his four |
|
sisters; a 2007 graduate of Archmere Academy in Delaware, where he |
|
played on the football team for four years, he also completed a year |
|
of studies at the Naval Academy Preparatory School; in July 2008, he |
|
realized a lifelong dream when he entered the United States Naval |
|
Academy as a member of the 22nd Company, and this determined young |
|
man planned to follow in his father's footsteps and serve his nation |
|
as a navy pilot; and |
|
WHEREAS, Blessed with a gregarious and cheerful personality |
|
that won him the respect and friendship of his fellow students, |
|
Midshipman Eissler played intramural sports at the academy and was |
|
a disciplined student who exhibited strong loyalty to his loved |
|
ones and to his principles; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his years on this earth, Frederick Henry |
|
Eissler brightened the lives of countless people with his |
|
ever-present smile and hearty laugh; although his life ended far |
|
too soon, memories of his kindness and dedication will be forever |
|
cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Midshipman Frederick |
|
Henry Eissler and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his |
|
family: to his parents, Helene and Frederick Eissler; to his |
|
sisters; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Frederick |
|
Henry Eissler. |
