R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Blake Green has provided indispensable support to |
|
|
the district office of Representative Hubert Vo; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Green joined Representative Vo's staff as a |
|
|
legislative intern in 2006; after a hiatus to complete his master's |
|
|
of business administration degree at Texas Southern University, he |
|
|
returned to work in the representative's office in 2008; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In his position as senior legislative aide, Mr. |
|
|
Green has managed his many daily responsibilities in an exceptional |
|
|
manner, demonstrating impeccable judgment and resourcefulness in |
|
|
addressing constituent needs, in scheduling and researching, and in |
|
|
preparing written and oral communications; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable Texan has an established history of |
|
|
leadership in both academic and professional associations, as well |
|
|
as in issue-based projects and public organizations; this record |
|
|
will serve him well as he embarks on the next step in his career, |
|
|
returning to Texas Southern University to head its new executive |
|
|
MBA program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blake Green has performed his duties in the office |
|
|
of Representative Vo with skill and dedication, and his fine work |
|
|
has been of great benefit to the constituents of House District 149; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Blake Green for his outstanding service as |
|
|
a legislative aide and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Green as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
