H.R. No. 527
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
  honor Dr. Audrey Jones of Alamo for her service as Physician of the
  Day on February 26, 2009; and
         WHEREAS, Each day of a regular or special session of the
  legislature, a volunteer physician is on call at the Capitol First
  Aid Station to provide medical assistance should it be needed; and
         WHEREAS, Dr. Jones is a graduate of the Texas College of
  Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health
  Science Center; she is certified by the American Board of Family
  Practice and the American Board of Forensic Examiners and practices
  at the Alamo Neighborhood Doctor clinic; and
         WHEREAS, A member of several professional organizations, Dr.
  Jones serves on the board of the Texas Osteopathic Medical
  Association; this civic-minded Texan also serves as president of
  the Boys and Girls Club of Alamo--San Juan; and
         WHEREAS, Audrey Jones has volunteered to serve as Physician
  of the Day despite the demands of a busy schedule, and we welcome
  her to the State Capitol with gratitude; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize Dr. Audrey Jones for her contributions
  to the medical profession and commend her for her generous service
  to the Texas Legislature as Physician of the Day; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Jones as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
