R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The passing of Eleanor Anne Baumgarten of Houston on |
|
|
August 25, 2008, at the age of 70, has deeply saddened all those who |
|
|
were fortunate enough to know her; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born to Arthur and Mildred Leopold on June 10, 1938, |
|
|
Eleanor Leopold enjoyed the companionship of a sister, Joyce, and |
|
|
three brothers, Tom, Ron, and William; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Baumgarten and her husband, Roger, shared a |
|
|
rewarding relationship that was strengthened by mutual love, |
|
|
kindness, and an abiding faith; they became the proud parents of two |
|
|
beloved children, Matthew and Monica; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This gracious woman lived a caring and purposeful |
|
|
life, and she will forever be remembered for her compassion and |
|
|
quiet determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Eleanor Anne |
|
|
Baumgarten and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her |
|
|
family: to her husband, Roger Baumgarten; to her children, Matthew |
|
|
and Monica; to her sister, Joyce Basarich, and her husband, Dan; to |
|
|
her brothers, Tom, Ron, and William Leopold; to her uncle, Bill |
|
|
Leopold; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Eleanor |
|
|
Anne Baumgarten. |
