R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and Warren and Juanita Attaway of Yantis |
|
|
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January 12, |
|
|
2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Attaway were joined in matrimony in |
|
|
1949 at a ceremony held in Yantis; through the years, they have been |
|
|
blessed with a treasured family that includes three children and |
|
|
their spouses, Beverly and Robert Page, Michael and Pegi Attaway, |
|
|
and Wesley and Christi Attaway, as well as 10 grandchildren and 8 |
|
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This devoted couple have enjoyed six decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Warren and Juanita Attaway on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Attaway as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
