R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Felipe and Zoila Hernandez of Stanton |
|
|
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on February 14, 2009; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez were united in matrimony on |
|
|
Valentine's Day 1959 at a ceremony held in Tarzan, and they have |
|
|
made their home in Stanton throughout their marriage; since |
|
|
beginning their journey together as husband and wife, they have |
|
|
nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with |
|
|
the addition of two children, Diana and Danny and his wife, Andrea, |
|
|
and two grandsons, Ryan and Dustin Hernandez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half-century, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Felipe and Zoila Hernandez on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
