R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of |
|
|
Castleman Andrews III of Round Rock, who died on January 20, 2009, |
|
|
at the age of 61; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cas Andrews was born in Greenville on September 12, |
|
|
1947, the son of Castleman Mazyck Andrews, Jr., and Bernice Lee |
|
|
Henson Andrews; Mr. Andrews had worked for the Better Business |
|
|
Bureau, and at the time of his death, he was a district manager of |
|
|
the Texas Restaurant Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Known for his warmhearted personality and his sense |
|
|
of humor, Mr. Andrews took great pleasure in meeting people and |
|
|
making new friends; he enjoyed saltwater fishing and golf, and he |
|
|
was an avid fan of college football; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An individual who brightened the lives of many |
|
|
people, Cas Andrews will long be remembered with great admiration |
|
|
and affection by all who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Castleman Andrews III |
|
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
|
son, Lee Andrews; to his brothers, Robie Andrews and his wife, |
|
|
Carolyn, and Bill Andrews; and to his other relatives and friends; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in honor of Cas Andrews. |
