R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 73rd birthday of an esteemed Texan is indeed |
|
|
cause for celebration, and Priscilla Ruth Savage of Cypress reached |
|
|
that impressive milestone on March 16, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Known as "Perky" to her loved ones, Mrs. Savage is a |
|
|
devoted wife to her husband, Jack, a caring and supportive mother |
|
|
and grandmother, and a true and loyal friend; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Savage has long been an inspiring leader and |
|
|
grassroots activist for the causes in which she believes; a |
|
|
precinct chair of the Harris County Republican Party since 1999, |
|
|
she is a former president of the Texas Tea Party Republican Women |
|
|
and a valued member of the Cypress Bible Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Now retired from the mortgage industry, Mrs. Savage |
|
|
enjoys volunteering, traveling, and learning new skills, and she is |
|
|
currently mastering the networking website Facebook; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This adventurous, courageous, and good-humored |
|
|
Texas lady truly lives life to the fullest, and it is indeed a |
|
|
pleasure to recognize her accomplishments and virtues on this |
|
|
special day; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Priscilla Ruth Savage on her 73rd |
|
|
birthday and extend to her warmest best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Savage as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
