R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, With locations along the Gulf Coast and in South
  Texas, US Liquids of Louisiana is among those businesses that are
  helping to secure a prosperous future for the Lone Star State by
  employing local residents and contributing to the growth of the
  economy, and it is a pleasure to welcome the company's president and
  CEO Manuel F. Gonzalez and executive chairman William F. Werdenberg
  to the State Capitol; and
         WHEREAS, For more than 25 years US Liquids of Louisiana has
  provided waste management services to the oil and gas industry, and
  today the company has transitioned itself into a recycling leader
  by developing innovative waste treatment and disposal practices to
  manufacture an alternative recyclable road base product called R3,
  or Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle technology, which can be used in the
  construction and repair of roads in Texas; US Liquids of Louisiana
  works to reduce water usage, recycle more oil, and convert oil and
  gas exploration and production waste into economically viable,
  environmentally friendly, and beneficial materials with approval
  of the Texas Department of Transportation and the Railroad
  Commission of Texas; and
         WHEREAS, US Liquids of Louisiana president and CEO Manuel F.
  Gonzalez earned a bachelor of science degree in geology from Texas
  A&M University--Kingsville, formerly Texas A&I University, and has
  26 years of domestic and international experience in managing
  oilfield, refinery, and petrochemical waste projects; executive
  chairman William F. Werdenberg holds a bachelor of science degree
  in electrical engineering from Rice University, and his expertise
  includes executive and board level leadership and corporate
  marketing; together, these esteemed Texans are helping US Liquids
  of Louisiana maintain its notable reputation within the industry as
  it works to further its recycling initiatives; and
         WHEREAS, US Liquids of Louisiana is contributing to the
  vitality of our state's economy, and its efforts to promote the use
  of environmentally sound practices within the oil and gas industry
  indeed merit special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Manuel F. Gonzalez and William F.
  Werdenberg of US Liquids of Louisiana and extend to them best wishes
  for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for US Liquids of Louisiana as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
