R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Loved ones will always cherish their memories of |
|
Josefina Duran Aguilar, who passed away on July 3, 2006, at the age |
|
of 79; and |
|
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of El Paso County, Mrs. Aguilar |
|
grew up in Socorro, later living in San Elizario and Clint; when she |
|
was 14 years old, her mother passed away, and she lovingly helped to |
|
raise her five siblings; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Aguilar shared many years of marriage with her |
|
husband, Jose, with whom she had four children, Fabiola, Saul, |
|
Hilda, and Jaime; devoted to her family, she was a homemaker and |
|
often volunteered to help in the school cafeteria; and |
|
WHEREAS, In her free time, Mrs. Aguilar enjoyed collecting |
|
porcelain dolls, making ceramics, and attending church at Our Lady |
|
of Mt. Carmel School; and |
|
WHEREAS, Josefina Aguilar was a kind and caring woman, and |
|
although she is deeply missed, she has forever enriched the lives of |
|
all who knew her; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Josefina Duran |
|
Aguilar and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to |
|
her husband, Jose Aguilar; to her children, Fabiola Ochoa, Saul |
|
Aguilar, Hilda Acuna, and Jaime Aguilar; to her daughter-in-law, |
|
Nora Aguilar, and son-in-law, Jerry Acuna; to her grandchildren, |
|
Corinne Arocha, Larry Ochoa, Albert Pena, Gabriel, Albert, and |
|
Daniel Acuna, Amanda, Angela, and Crystal Aguilar, and Jaime |
|
Aguilar, Jr.; to her six great-grandchildren; to her brothers and |
|
sisters, Ofelia Galvan, Isabel and Reyes Rodriguez, and Marta, |
|
Roberto, Ricky, Manuel, Juan, and Pete Duran; and to her other |
|
relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Josefina |
|
Duran Aguilar. |
