R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends mourn the loss of Elizabeth J. |
|
Reinhardt of Fabens, who died on April 15, 2008, at the age of 87; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on May 6, 1920, to |
|
Lloyd and Ida Bloodworth, Bettye Bloodworth graduated from Austin |
|
High School in 1939; and |
|
WHEREAS, She married Daniel Erwin Reinhardt, Jr., and they |
|
settled in Fabens, where Mrs. Reinhardt would live for more than six |
|
decades; the couple raised two sons, D. E. and Dale, and shared a |
|
rewarding marriage until Mr. Reinhardt passed away; and |
|
WHEREAS, Bettye Reinhardt lived a caring and purposeful life, |
|
and she will always be remembered with great affection by those who |
|
were privileged to share in her love and friendship; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Elizabeth J. |
|
Reinhardt and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: |
|
to her sons, D. E. Reinhardt III and Dale T. Reinhardt and his wife, |
|
Sandra; to her granddaughters, Cheri Mullens and her husband, |
|
Wayne, Dana Kirby and her husband, Scott, Brandi Reinhardt, Rae |
|
Anna Day and her husband, Randy, and Kaysia Reinhardt; to her |
|
great-grandsons, Joey Hernandez, Kyle Kirby, Zachary Reinhardt, |
|
Cash Day, and Carter Day; to her brother, Basil Halbert Bloodworth, |
|
and his wife, Ruthie; to her special cousin, Rosie Jones; and to her |
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bettye |
|
Reinhardt. |
