R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Trinity School of Midland is celebrating its 50th |
|
|
anniversary on April 18, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded on the principle of enrichment for mind, |
|
|
body, and soul, Trinity School is a college preparatory academy |
|
|
dedicated to upholding exemplary academic, ethical, and behavioral |
|
|
standards for its students; the values of effort, knowledge, and |
|
|
honesty are taught alongside physical education, foreign |
|
|
languages, and the visual and performing arts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Trinity School offers prekindergarten through high |
|
|
school level study, and it maintains a supportive community |
|
|
atmosphere throughout the course of enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The education of young Texans is a cornerstone of |
|
|
the future for the Lone Star State, and Trinity School has dedicated |
|
|
itself admirably to that worthy goal for half a century; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Trinity School of Midland on the |
|
|
occasion of its 50th anniversary and extend to its faculty, staff, |
|
|
and students sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
