R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Members and alumni of Leadership Belton contribute |
|
immeasurably to Central Texas as civic leaders and volunteers; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Belton Chamber of Commerce, this |
|
exceptional program consists of three components; in addition to |
|
providing opportunities for participants to increase their |
|
knowledge of vital public issues and infrastructure, Leadership |
|
Belton inspires the spirit of activism through a hands-on class |
|
project and provides its diverse membership with personal |
|
leadership training throughout the year; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through its efforts to build a more informed and |
|
involved citizenry and to develop new leaders, Leadership Belton is |
|
helping to create a brighter and more promising future for the Lone |
|
Star State; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Leadership Belton for its promotion of |
|
civic engagement and volunteerism and extend to its participants |
|
sincere best wishes for continued success and achievement; and, be |
|
it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
