R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ref-Chem L.P., a Texas-based company engaged in |
|
|
industrial construction, maintenance, and engineering operations, |
|
|
celebrated a special milestone, its 50th anniversary, in 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in Odessa in 1957, Ref-Chem was |
|
|
organized to meet the growing need for contract maintenance at the |
|
|
petrochemical complex that was being built in that city; over the |
|
|
years, as the company extended its reach across the country, it also |
|
|
added construction and engineering services to its capabilities; |
|
|
today, Ref-Chem provides grassroots facilities, plant expansions, |
|
|
revamps and retrofits, and in-plant maintenance for a wide range of |
|
|
heavy industries; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Fueling the steady growth of this outstanding |
|
|
company has been a reputation for professionalism, quality |
|
|
workmanship, and customer satisfaction, and its leadership and |
|
|
workforce can take justifiable pride in the contributions Ref-Chem |
|
|
has made to the economic development of the Lone Star State and to |
|
|
the progress of industrial concerns across the nation; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ref-Chem |
|
|
L.P. and extend to all those associated with the firm sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ref-Chem as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
