R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Harold Moore has been inducted into the Odessa
  Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame, and this occasion provides a
  fitting opportunity to honor this esteemed Texan; and
         WHEREAS, Born in the Walnut Bend community in Cooke County,
  Harold Moore relocated to Odessa in 1957; he went on to graduate
  from Odessa High School in 1962 and attended Odessa College; Mr.
  Moore was later employed at Electronic Service Center, where he
  became a service manager; in 1976, he launched Harold's
  Electronics, and he continues to operate that business today; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Moore has volunteered his time to a number of
  local organizations; he has served on the board of directors of the
  Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center, and he has been involved with
  the Harmony Home Children's Advocacy Center; he is also a member of
  First Baptist Church; in all of his endeavors, he enjoys the love
  and support of his wife, Diane Carter Moore, and his son, Brian
  Moore; and
         WHEREAS, Dedicated to his community and his profession,
  Harold Moore has garnered the lasting respect and admiration of his
  fellow residents, and he may indeed reflect with great pride on his
  civic contributions; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Harold Moore on his 2009 induction
  into the Odessa Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Moore as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
