R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the loved ones of |
|
Esther L. Garza, who passed away on February 17, 2008, at the age of |
|
78; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on November 17, 1929, in Henrietta, Mrs. Garza |
|
found great joy in her treasured family; she shared many years with |
|
her husband, Hector, and was devoted to her children, Hector L. |
|
Garza and Sylvia Collazo; she also enjoyed doting on her |
|
grandchildren, Brandon, Cristina, Lauren, and Hector; and |
|
WHEREAS, This capable and caring woman enriched the lives of |
|
many during her journey on this earth, and her memory will be |
|
forever cherished by those who were privileged to share in the |
|
warmth of her love and friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Esther L. Garza and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Hector E. Garza; to her son, Hector L. Garza, and his wife, |
|
Ora; to her daughter, Sylvia Collazo, and her husband, Leandro |
|
Collazo, Jr.; to her grandchildren, Brandon Garza, Cristina |
|
Collazo, Lauren Collazo, and Hector T. Garza; to her siblings, |
|
Consuelo Garcia, Elvira Lopez, Antonio Lopez and his wife, Luz, |
|
Rosa Valera, Ofelia Moreno, and Maria Alicia Lopez; and to her other |
|
relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Esther L. |
|
Garza. |
