R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |
|
|
recognize the members of the Leadership Fort Worth Class of 2009 who |
|
|
are traveling to Austin on April 16 to visit the State Capitol and |
|
|
to learn more about state government; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of the 10-month program, these |
|
|
public-spirited citizens are offered many opportunities to gain |
|
|
valuable insight into significant public issues and to visit with |
|
|
leaders who make crucial decisions on policies that affect their |
|
|
community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of Leadership Fort Worth are committed |
|
|
to building a more involved citizenry, and through their |
|
|
participation in this notable endeavor, they are helping to create |
|
|
a brighter future for the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend the members of the Leadership Fort Worth |
|
|
Class of 2009 for their civic engagement and volunteerism and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for a memorable and enjoyable |
|
|
visit to Austin; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
