R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hochstedler of Temple celebrated |
|
|
their 65th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2009, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hochstedler and the former Ina Lee Bleeker |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony on that special day in 1944, and |
|
|
over the course of their marriage, they have found in one another a |
|
|
loving life partner; Mr. Hochstedler is retired after serving in |
|
|
the U.S. Army and in civil service; Mrs. Hochstedler is a homemaker; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hochstedler count among their blessings |
|
|
a fine family that includes 4 children, Robert, Jim, Darlene, and |
|
|
James, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a |
|
|
great-great-grandchild, with whom they share the many special |
|
|
occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For 65 years, Mr. and Mrs. Hochstedler have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment to one |
|
|
another; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hochstedler on |
|
|
the occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hochstedler as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
