R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Loretta Class, a legislative assistant for |
|
Representative Frank Corte, is taking time from a busy legislative |
|
session to celebrate her 26th birthday on April 6, 2009; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Jim and Mary Esther Class and the |
|
sister of Esther Class George, Ms. Class is a bona fide Aggie who |
|
graduated from Texas A&M in 2006 with a degree in political science; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Having learned about politics in theory at A&M, |
|
Ms. Class is now getting a close-up view of politics in practice, as |
|
a valued member of Representative Corte's staff since January of |
|
this year; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Class is an active young woman who enjoys |
|
traveling and running, energetic pastimes that also happen to |
|
provide excellent training for that marathon obstacle course known |
|
as the Texas legislative session; and |
|
WHEREAS, She also brings to her job diligence, an easygoing |
|
nature, and a stress-relieving wit, earning her the respect, |
|
affection, and appreciative laughter of her coworkers; and |
|
WHEREAS, Loretta Class has proven herself to be a young Texan |
|
of great ability and promise, and her winning combination of |
|
intelligence, energy, and good humor indeed bode well for her |
|
future; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Loretta Class on her 26th birthday |
|
and extend to her best wishes for many more happy birthdays to come; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Class as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives, after which, she should go back to work. |
