R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Martha |
|
|
Lynn Korioth of Houston, who passed away on March 15, 2009, at the |
|
|
age of 67; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Longview, Martha Korioth was the |
|
|
daughter of Marcella Lockaby and Frank Hawkins; she worked with the |
|
|
Spring Branch Independent School District for three decades, and |
|
|
her career included a notable 25-year tenure as the executive |
|
|
assistant to the superintendent; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A devoted wife and mother, this esteemed Texan led a |
|
|
caring and purposeful life, and she will forever hold a treasured |
|
|
place in the hearts of all those who shared in her love and |
|
|
friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Martha Lynn |
|
|
Korioth and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to |
|
|
her husband, Terry Korioth; to her sons, Cary, Jeff, and Kevin |
|
|
Korioth; to her daughters-in-law, Tricia and Renee Korioth; to her |
|
|
grandchildren, Krysten, Danielle, Kelsey, Alexis, Connor, and |
|
|
Carson; to her brother, Ken Hawkins; to her mother-in-law, Billie |
|
|
Lee Korioth; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of |
|
|
Martha Lynn Korioth. |
