R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ryan Andrew Kemnitz graduated from the U.S. Air |
|
|
Force Academy as a second lieutenant with a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
mechanical engineering on May 28, 2008; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Dirk and Sharon Kemnitz, |
|
|
Ryan Kemnitz attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory High School |
|
|
in Houston, where he was a member of the varsity water polo team; |
|
|
during his high school career, his athletic prowess was rewarded |
|
|
with recognition as an all-district water polo player in 2003 and |
|
|
his academic achievements earned him membership in the National |
|
|
Honor Society; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He was appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy in |
|
|
2004, and he continued to play water polo for the academy's team |
|
|
while studying for his undergraduate degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The accomplishments of Ryan Kemnitz distinguish |
|
|
this outstanding young Texan as an individual of great promise, and |
|
|
it is a pleasure to honor him as he prepares to embark on the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Second Lieutenant Ryan Andrew |
|
|
Kemnitz on his graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy and extend |
|
|
to him sincere best wishes for a bright and rewarding future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Second Lieutenant Kemnitz as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
