R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on
  economic prosperity throughout the state, and businesses that
  employ Texans and contribute to local economies are important
  components of a prosperous future; and
         WHEREAS, Built on 200 acres of a former ranch, the Hyatt
  Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is one such business; it is
  located on the western side of San Antonio and has 500 guest rooms
  and architecture that is inspired by the surrounding Hill Country
  landscape; and
         WHEREAS, This notable resort is the winner of the AAA Four
  Diamond Award for 2009 and the prestigious Gold Key and Gold Tee
  awards; moreover, it was chosen by readers of the San Antonio
  Express-News as one of the best public courses in the area, and it
  was named among the 500 World's Best Hotels in 2009 by Travel and
  Leisure magazine; and
         WHEREAS, The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is
  building on the region's already impressive reputation as a
  desirable tourist destination, as well as providing hundreds of
  jobs for Texas workers and enhancing the state's economic
  prosperity, and its management and staff merit special recognition
  for their hard work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and
  Spa and extend to all those involved in its operation sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa as an
  expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
