R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on |
|
economic prosperity throughout the state, and businesses that |
|
employ Texans and contribute to local economies are important |
|
components of a prosperous future; and |
|
WHEREAS, Built on 200 acres of a former ranch, the Hyatt |
|
Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is one such business; it is |
|
located on the western side of San Antonio and has 500 guest rooms |
|
and architecture that is inspired by the surrounding Hill Country |
|
landscape; and |
|
WHEREAS, This notable resort is the winner of the AAA Four |
|
Diamond Award for 2009 and the prestigious Gold Key and Gold Tee |
|
awards; moreover, it was chosen by readers of the San Antonio |
|
Express-News as one of the best public courses in the area, and it |
|
was named among the 500 World's Best Hotels in 2009 by Travel and |
|
Leisure magazine; and |
|
WHEREAS, The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is |
|
building on the region's already impressive reputation as a |
|
desirable tourist destination, as well as providing hundreds of |
|
jobs for Texas workers and enhancing the state's economic |
|
prosperity, and its management and staff merit special recognition |
|
for their hard work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby honor the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and |
|
Spa and extend to all those involved in its operation sincere best |
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa as an |
|
expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
