R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Johnny and Unita Courns of Greenville celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on March 13, 2009, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Courns exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in 1959, and over the course of their marriage they have found in |
|
|
one another a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This inspiring couple count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes six children, five grandchildren, and a |
|
|
great-grandchild, with whom they share the many special occasions |
|
|
of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Johnny and Unita Courns have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Johnny and Unita Courns on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Courns as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
