H.R. No. 1364
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ryan Austin Kattchee of Boy Scouts of America Troop
  No. 40 of Houston has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this
  accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
         WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
  honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
  scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
  criteria, Mr. Kattchee earned 28 merit badges and, for his Eagle
  Scout project, rebuilt the dugouts at Seton Catholic Junior High
  School; and
         WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding
  leadership ability throughout his scouting career, winning the
  respect and admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the
  highest rank that scouting offers; a member of the Order of the
  Arrow, he has also earned the Arrow of Light and World Conservation
  Awards; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Kattchee is the son of Phillip and Dianna
  Kattchee; he graduated from St. Thomas High School, where he was a
  member of the National Honor Society and an Academic All-American,
  as well as a member of the baseball and swim teams; he is currently
  studying engineering at The University of Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Kattchee's dedication to excellence and
  his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy
  to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with
  pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ryan Austin Kattchee on achieving
  the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Eagle Scout Kattchee as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
