R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Eddy and Sheila Jones of Kennedale celebrated their |
|
|
45th wedding anniversary on March 20, 2009, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple first met in 1962, at Jolly Time skating |
|
|
rink in Fort Worth; since exchanging the vows of matrimony on that |
|
|
special day in 1964, Mr. and Mrs. Jones have found in one another a |
|
|
loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, They count among their blessings a fine family that |
|
|
includes two children, Tammy and Eddie, and three grandchildren, |
|
|
Stacy, Ashley, and Cody, with whom they share the many special |
|
|
occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the last 45 |
|
|
years, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Eddy and Sheila Jones on the |
|
|
occasion of their 45th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Jones as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
