R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Charles and Ann Eisemann of Richardson have earned |
|
the first Excellence in Education Award presented by the Richardson |
|
Independent School District Excellence in Education Foundation; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, This accolade recognizes Mr. and Mrs. Eisemann for |
|
their support of artistic endeavors throughout North Texas; as |
|
administrators of the Eisemann Foundation Fund of Communities |
|
Foundation of Texas, this generous couple have sponsored a number |
|
of area performance groups and played a vital role in the |
|
establishment of the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and |
|
Corporate Presentations; and |
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas Tech University, Mrs. Eisemann |
|
has worked for many years with the Richardson Symphony's Young |
|
Artist Competition and further lent her support to the arts |
|
community as a regular attendee of the Richardson Symphony, Plano |
|
Symphony, Chamber Music International, and the Van Cliburn |
|
International Piano Competition; she is also involved with Altrusa |
|
International of Richardson, volunteering with a number of the |
|
group's worthwhile projects; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Eisemann holds bachelor's and master's degrees |
|
in business administration from The University of Texas; after |
|
serving a notable tenure with Texas Instruments, he established his |
|
own management consulting firm, Industrial Relations |
|
International; also active in the banking industry and the |
|
Richardson Chamber of Commerce, he was named Richardson 2001 |
|
Citizen of the Year for his many contributions to the town; his |
|
appreciation of and dedication to the arts have led to his service |
|
with 500, Inc., and the board of the Richardson Symphony; and |
|
WHEREAS, Together, Mr. and Mrs. Eisemann have generously |
|
shared their time and resources to broaden public access to the |
|
visual and performing arts, and their efforts have enriched the |
|
life of the community; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Ann Eisemann on earning |
|
the first Excellence in Education Award from the Richardson ISD |
|
Excellence in Education Foundation and extend to them sincere best |
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Eisemann as an expression of high regard |
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
