H.R. No. 1418
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
  by a great and enduring love, Paul and Gay Ingram of Big Sandy
  celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 30, 2008; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ingram were joined in matrimony on that
  special day in 1958, at a ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in
  Dallas; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured
  family that includes two sons, David and his wife, Karla, and Robert
  and his wife, Cassandra, and three granddaughters, Amanda, Ashley,
  and Carlie; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ingram is retired from Cherokee Steel
  Fabricators, where he served as chief draftsman for 25 years, while
  Mrs. Ingram has been a dedicated homemaker and civic volunteer over
  the course of the couple's marriage; and
         WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world during the past
  half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant
  in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love
  has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with
  grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Paul and Gay Ingram on the occasion
  of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
  wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ingram as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
