R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Johnny and Dorothy Vanek of Robinson celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19, 2007, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Vanek exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
on that special day in 1957 at a ceremony held in Ennis, and over the |
|
|
course of their marriage, they have found in one another a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Vanek have a large family that includes |
|
|
5 children, Randy, Pam, Greg, Deanna, and Pat, as well as 12 |
|
|
grandchildren, Becca, Justin, Jonathon, Angelica, Maureen, Ben, |
|
|
Brian, Kristin, Mason, Brady, Gracie, and the late Gordon Vanek; in |
|
|
addition to spending time with their loved ones, the couple enjoy |
|
|
active membership at St. Louis Catholic Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For more than half a century, Johnny and Dorothy |
|
|
Vanek have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and |
|
|
devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Johnny and Dorothy Vanek on their |
|
|
50th anniversary and on reaching this milestone in their lives |
|
|
together and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Vanek as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
