R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jessica Dumesnil was honored by the Robinson Police |
|
|
Department in May 2008 for her notable efforts in behalf of her |
|
|
community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The department hosts an annual awards program to pay |
|
|
tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated an exemplary |
|
|
commitment to the city of Robinson; the honorees-everyday citizens |
|
|
as well as public officers and employees-have reached above and |
|
|
beyond in serving their fellow residents and the greater community, |
|
|
and by acknowledging their selfless actions, the Robinson PD is |
|
|
promoting volunteerism among all of its citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A telecommunicator, Ms. Dumesnil has distinguished |
|
|
herself through her significant role in assisting and caring for a |
|
|
man who was having a heart attack, and she fittingly received a |
|
|
Life-Saving Award for her swift response to that critical |
|
|
situation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With her dedication and hard work, Jessica Dumesnil |
|
|
has contributed to the public's safety and well-being, and it is |
|
|
indeed a pleasure to recognize her many worthy endeavors; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jessica Dumesnil on her receipt of |
|
|
a Life-Saving Award from the Robinson Police Department and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Dumesnil as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
