R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Fernando and Hortensia Reyna celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on April 19, 2008, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Reyna exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in Houston on that special day in 1958, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in one another a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Caring parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Reyna |
|
|
count among their blessings a fine family that includes their |
|
|
children, Edward, Marcus and his wife, Anna, Janie, Rebecca and her |
|
|
husband, Robbie, Rachel, Jessica and her husband, Jesse, and |
|
|
Destiny, as well as 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, |
|
|
with whom they share the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For over half a century, Fernando and Hortensia |
|
|
Reyna have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and |
|
|
devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Fernando and Hortensia Reyna on |
|
|
reaching the noteworthy milestone of their golden wedding |
|
|
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Reyna as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
