R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their
  memories of Lucile Lacy Taylor II of Waco, who passed away on March
  19, 2009, at the age of 61; and
         WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Lacy Taylor was born
  in Waco on February 7, 1948, to Julius Heyward Taylor, Jr., and
  Lucile Lacy Taylor; she graduated from the Hockaday School in
  Dallas in 1966, distinguishing herself by having the highest
  history honor in the Upper School; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Taylor also excelled at Hollins College in
  Roanoke, Virginia, making the Dean's List for two years, before
  transferring to The University of Texas at Austin, where she
  graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in 1970; and
         WHEREAS, Lacy Taylor lived a caring and purposeful life, and
  she will forever hold a treasured place in the hearts of all those
  who shared in her love and friendship; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Lucile Lacy Taylor II
  and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  mother, Lucile Lacy Taylor; to her brothers, Goodwyn Rhett Taylor
  and J. Heyward Taylor III and his wife, Brooke; to her nieces and
  nephews, Julieanne Dorn Taylor and Goodwyn Rhett Taylor III,
  Nathaniel Heyward Taylor, and Carlisle Taylor Whitworth and her
  husband, Scott; to her great-nephew, Robert Rhett Whitworth; and to
  her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lucile Lacy
  Taylor II.
