R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The friends and family of U.S. Navy Airman Adrian M. |
|
Campos of El Paso suffered an immeasurable loss with the death of |
|
this valiant soldier on April 21, 2008, at the age of 22; and |
|
WHEREAS, Assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Support Squadron, |
|
attached to the USNS Arctic, Airman Campos died in a |
|
non-combat-related incident in Dubai; and |
|
WHEREAS, Adrian Campos graduated from high school in 2003 and |
|
joined the navy to see the world; he planned to open an auto shop |
|
after completing his military service; beloved by many for his |
|
outgoing and caring nature, he was a devoted husband to his wife, |
|
Sylvia, and a proud father of his baby girl, Gaby; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through his unfaltering devotion to duty, honor, and |
|
country, Adrian Campos upheld the highest ideals of the United |
|
States armed forces, and his fellow citizens owe him a debt of |
|
gratitude that the passage of time can never diminish; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Airman Adrian M. |
|
Campos and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to |
|
his wife, Sylvia Campos; to his daughter, Gaby Campos; to his |
|
brother, Carlos Campos; to his sister, Vanessa Valenvuela; and to |
|
his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Adrian M. |
|
Campos. |
