R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jimmy and Margie Voiles of Hewitt celebrated their
  50th wedding anniversary on August 30, 2007, and they may indeed
  reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
  and
         WHEREAS, Jimmy Voiles and the former Margie Linam exchanged
  the vows of matrimony on that special day in 1957, and over the
  course of their marriage, they have found in one another a loving
  life partner; Mr. Voiles retired after a 37-year career with Young
  Brothers Contractors, and Mrs. Voiles worked for Owens-Illinois;
  the couple are members of Lorena First Baptist Church and have
  travelled together to 48 American states; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Voiles count among their blessings a
  fine family that includes their children, Kenneth and his wife,
  Brenda, Steve and his wife, Debbie, and Vickie Kroll and her
  husband, Cliff, as well as five grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Aimee,
  Tara, and Melanie, with whom they share the many special occasions
  of life; and
         WHEREAS, For half a century, Jimmy and Margie Voiles have
  brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
  is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Jimmy and Margie Voiles on the
  noteworthy milestone of their golden wedding anniversary and extend
  to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Voiles as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
