R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Faye and Troy Redd of Alba celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on March 13, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Redd were united in matrimony in 1959; |
|
|
through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that |
|
|
has been made even richer with the addition of their children, Sandy |
|
|
Bland and Troy Redd, Jr., and their five grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Faye and Troy Redd on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Redd as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
