R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Brian Srba of Fort Worth is joining the elite ranks |
|
|
of the game wardens of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department with |
|
|
his graduation as a member of the 54th Texas Game Warden Cadet Class |
|
|
on June 9, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The game wardens of Texas are among the best-trained |
|
|
fish and wildlife conservation officers in the country, and they |
|
|
play a vital role in making sure that hunting, fishing, and other |
|
|
outdoor activities in Texas are safe and sustainable; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Game Warden Training Center in Austin accepts |
|
|
just a fraction of the hundreds of applicants for its rigorous |
|
|
seven-month training program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The men and women who become Texas game wardens make |
|
|
a positive and lasting contribution to the vitality and |
|
|
environmental well-being of this state, and it is fitting that Mr. |
|
|
Srba's achievement in joining this select group be recognized; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Brian Srba on his graduation with |
|
|
the 54th Texas Game Warden Cadet Class and extend to him best wishes |
|
|
for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Srba as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
