R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Larry R. Montgomery of Belton has been appointed |
|
|
to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners by Governor Rick Perry |
|
|
for a term that expires in 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners promotes, |
|
|
preserves, and protects the health of the citizens of Texas by |
|
|
overseeing the licensing, practices, and facilities of Texas |
|
|
chiropractors; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Montgomery attended Central Texas College and |
|
|
San Jacinto College, and he earned his degree from Texas |
|
|
Chiropractic College in 1981; he is the president and clinic |
|
|
director of Montgomery Chiropractic in Belton; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This distinguished Texan is also active in his |
|
|
profession as a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association, the |
|
|
American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Chiropractic |
|
|
Association Council on Orthopedics; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Texas Board of Chiropractic |
|
|
Examiners play a vital role in the oversight of health care |
|
|
services, and Dr. Larry Montgomery may indeed take great pride in |
|
|
his contribution to the well-being and safety of the citizens of |
|
|
Texas; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Larry R. Montgomery on his |
|
|
appointment to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and extend |
|
|
to him sincere best wishes for success in his important work; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Montgomery as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
