R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends of Alfredo Bruno Sepulveda were |
|
greatly saddened by his passing on September 28, 2007, at the age of |
|
89; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on October 6, 1917, Mr. Sepulveda served his |
|
country with distinction during World War II and was later employed |
|
for 37 years as a civil servant; a man of many talents, he was an |
|
inventor, a chemist, a carpenter, an electrician, and an artist, |
|
and he was also a dedicated leader who shared his time with the |
|
Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Knights of Columbus; and |
|
WHEREAS, After the passing of his first wife, Josephina |
|
Sepulveda, Mr. Sepulveda was fortunate to find love again with Mary |
|
Lozano Sepulveda, with whom he enjoyed a fulfilling marriage; |
|
moreover, he took great pride in his 8 children, |
|
5 stepchildren, 32 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, |
|
4 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and |
|
WHEREAS, Alfredo Sepulveda inspired others with his |
|
kindness, generosity, and wisdom, and although he will be deeply |
|
missed, memories of time spent in his company will be forever |
|
treasured by all those who were privileged to know him; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alfredo Bruno |
|
Sepulveda and extend sincere sympathy to his loved ones; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alfredo |
|
Bruno Sepulveda. |
